Actor Kanayo ‘Take your first salary to your father for blessings, not your pastor’

 Veteran Nollywood actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo, has urged Nigerians to always take their first salaries to their parents for “blessings” instead of handing them to clerics.

The thespian also argued that the practice of giving the first salary of each year to a pastor among Nigerian Christians is unbiblical.

He urged Christians to wake up and stop making poor financial decisions in the name of religion.

On his Instagram account, Kanayo wrote: “Take your first salary to your father for his blessings, not your pastor.

“And to that Pastor who said it belongs to him in a video in January, did you ever consider, the feeding/ transportation to and fro the office for that month? Where is this in the Bible?

“Christians wake up. This is not Christianity.”

T he estranged wife of singer, Harrysong, has hit hard at him following his infidelity allegations against her. DURABLES reports that Harrysong claimed that his wife, Alexer, was unfaithful in their marriage and got pregnant for another man despite marrying her due to emotional blackmail. Harrysong  said he regrets marrying into his wife’s family, claiming that infidelity runs in their family as her mother, who has been married to seven men, still cheats.   Ijoba Danku, the former manager of Oritsefemi, has debunked his claims that he accommodated Burna Boy during his fight with his mum, and sold a used vehicle to D’banj. durables recalls that Oritsefemi in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo claimed he accommodated Burna Boy during a fallout with his mum and sold his Prado to D’banj. He also accused his ex-manager Danku of defrauding him and betraying his trust. Speaking on the latest episode of the Doyin’s Corner podcast, Danku debunked Oritsefemi’s claims, labeling them as “lies.” He said, “Oritsefemi did not sell any Prado to D’banj. I don’t support lies. Burna Boy never slept in Oritsefemi’s house for once. How would he claim he helped Burna Boy during his fallout with his mum, did he do a family meeting with them? [Laughs].”
