Peter Obi demands justice, accountability for the Killing of soldiers in Aba.

 The 2023 Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has called for a thorough investigation into the killing of soldiers in Aba, Abia State, during the sit-at-home order.

On Thursday, IPOB had declared sit-at-home to remember those killed during the Biafra civil war.

During the sit-at-home, some unknown gunmen killed five soldiers in Aba, Abia State.

The incident took place at the Obikabia Junction checkpoint, in Obingwa Local Government Area.

Reacting, Obi described the killing of the soldiers as appalling and a dastard act.

Posting on X, Obi wrote: “I am appalled and saddened by the attack on our brave soldiers in Abia State yesterday, resulting in the death of five soldiers.

“This dastardly act remains condemnable as it is a stark reminder of the escalating insecurity and violence that has continued to plague our nation under our collective watch.

“Their sacrifice will never be forgotten, and we owe it to them to demand accountability and justice.

“I condemn this in strong terms and demand an immediate and thorough investigation into this crime to identify and punish the culprits. We must not stand and watch while our nation is torn apart by violence and fear.”

The former Anambra State governor vowed to continue pushing to ensure a better future.

  Ijoba Danku, the former manager of Oritsefemi, has debunked his claims that he accommodated Burna Boy during his fight with his mum, and sold a used vehicle to D’banj. durables recalls that Oritsefemi in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo claimed he accommodated Burna Boy during a fallout with his mum and sold his Prado to D’banj. He also accused his ex-manager Danku of defrauding him and betraying his trust. Speaking on the latest episode of the Doyin’s Corner podcast, Danku debunked Oritsefemi’s claims, labeling them as “lies.” He said, “Oritsefemi did not sell any Prado to D’banj. I don’t support lies. Burna Boy never slept in Oritsefemi’s house for once. How would he claim he helped Burna Boy during his fallout with his mum, did he do a family meeting with them? [Laughs].”
